Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, including excavators and other construction machinery, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and precision. This role involves working on diverse construction projects, utilizing various heavy equipment to facilitate excavation, grading, and site development tasks.
Responsibilities
* Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites
* Perform excavation, trenching, and grading tasks with precision to meet project specifications
* Utilize additional heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers as needed
* Assist in site preparation activities including paving, horizontal drilling, and water management
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
Requirements
* Proven experience operating 360 excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers
* Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and maintenance procedures
* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory
* Construction site experience with a focus on excavation and earth-moving activities
* Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and familiarity with horizontal drilling and paving operations is a plus
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads as required
* Commitment to safety standards and best practices in heavy equipment operation
