Storage & Backup Engineer x2 - UK Wide
Salary: £47-52,000 per annum + permanent benefits + on-call
Clearance Required: Eligible for Security Check (SC)
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing BAU support for SAN and backup environments
* Managing end-to-end backup configuration and resolving failed backups
* Maintaining documentation and preparing management reports
* Implementing approved changes following client change management processes
* Managing disaster recovery testing and tape management/rotation
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
* Familiarity with SAN switch management commands (Brocade and Cisco)
* Experience with storage management software
* Knowledge of HP and EMC storage technologies (PowerStore, Isilon, ECS, Unity)
* Hands-on experience with Brocade and SCAN and Cisco switches
* Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) for Incident/Change Management
* Experience using Veritas NetBackup
* PowerShell/Python Scripting
