Overview
Energy & Sustainability Manager role at Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will join the Estates Senior Management Team (SMT) within the Capital, Estates & Facilities directorate, contributing to a forward-thinking group with a track record of delivery and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Lead the strategy, operational management and delivery of the organisation's green plan initiatives; maximise resource and investment toward achieving sustainability goals; identify and pursue opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
* Provide expert advice and communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders; represent the organisation at regional level as required.
* Work closely with the Capital, Estates and Facilities (CEF) senior leadership team to ensure compliance with contractual terms and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with a focus on statutory and mandatory requirements, best practice compliance and due diligence audits.
* Demonstrate a values-led approach that respects GMMH service users and their carers and embraces the organisation's core values.
* Collaborate with internal teams to support sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with the Trust's strategic goals.

Qualifications
* Significant experience in energy, sustainability or estates management, with a track record of strategy development and delivery of green initiatives.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to provide expert advice and convey complex information to stakeholders; confident in representing the organisation regionally.
* Experience working with senior leadership teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms and KPIs; understanding of statutory, mandatory and best practice compliance and due diligence audits.
* Evidence of a values-led, patient-centred approach aligned with the organisation's core values.
