We have an opportunity for an Advanced Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities team in Guildford.
When not working with our residents in the community, we support agile working with a combination of home and office working. We aim to balance flexibility with connection to your team and the service.
The salary range for Advanced Social Workers is £47,884 - £51,175 per annum. We also offer a financial package of up to £6,000.

Responsibilities and role details
* As an Advanced Social Worker you will work on complex cases while also supporting the development of skills and knowledge within the team; there may be occasions to deputise for the Team Manager.
* You will line manage Family Support Workers within the team, offering personal and professional supervision and supporting joint visits when a family\'s needs are escalating.
* You will work in partnership with families and other services to maximise outcomes for children and young people, maintaining positive and consistent relationships with families, social workers and the multidisciplinary team.
* You will have opportunities to participate in county-wide learning activities organised by the Surrey Children\'s Service Academy and follow a clear professional development pathway.
* You will be empowered to work creatively and holistically to provide support and protection to children, while also paying attention to wellbeing and career development.
Requirements
* Must be registered with Social Work England.
* Enhanced DBS check for regulated activity (and Children\'s and Adults\' Barred List checks) will be required.

* In Surrey, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is expected to travel across a wide geographical area.
