To be part of a small, dedicated team in VBSE managing predominantly transmission-based networks and providing operational support. Work effectively with stakeholders in relation to the deployment and ongoing support for given projects
Perform regular audits on the networks and systems
Work closely with the project team to provide regular updates
Carry out analytical diagnostics on the network
Be able to maintain confidentiality and hold security clearance
basic network configuration of the Ciena/Photonic Cross Connects,
Understanding of Transmission equipment and networks such as Ciena
Telco, Network Operations background/qualifications is desired
Understanding of ITIL working practices
Basic concept of IP networking, switching and routing
