As a Community Liaison Officer, you will be engaging with a range of communities through initiatives to develop community engagement and relationship building and work with those with a Protected Characteristic. You will support and influence a partnership response to the wider cohesion agenda across the council and represent the service at local level. You will support and lead on community cohesion initiatives and ongoing activities with a focus on building capacity within communities and supporting organisations, to strengthen community cohesion across Wakefield District.
You should have strong community engagement and communication skills, with experience of working with diverse and faith‑based communities.
