Ready to shape the future of insurance technology? Join Zurich as our next IT Delivery Manager for Corporate Life & Pensions (CLP) platforms. We’re seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking leader to drive our technology team and play a key role in our global digital transformation.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of technology specialists, supporting their growth and driving performance.
* Plan and deliver new capabilities, while continuously enhancing and maintaining our CLP solutions.
* Apply expertise in React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and REST APIs to guide robust, scalable development.
* Work in an agile environment, taking a hands‑on approach to improve CLP platforms for our expanding business needs.
* Engage with Zurich stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing technical leadership for platform design and development.
* Oversee IT project delivery and ensure all requirements are met, including disaster recovery planning and service restoration.
* Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring SLAs are met and addressing any gaps.
* Champion compliance with IT governance, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
* Manage suppliers involved in the development and maintenance of CLP platforms.
* Develop technology roadmaps to maintain and upgrade hardware/software and reduce operational risks.
* Continuously improve agile practices within your team and across the wider Zurich community.
* Support audits and ensure operational readiness for projects and releases.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in application design and development.
* Hands‑on experience managing programmes/projects and providing ongoing operational support.
* Practical delivery experience with .NET technology and Agile methodologies.
* Proficiency in React, .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and REST APIs.
* Knowledge of Databricks, model serving, Mulesoft, and integrated platform delivery.
* People management and vendor management experience.
* Experience collaborating across countries and cultures, ideally within Zurich or the wider insurance/finance sector.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
