Overview
To maximize team collaboration and efficiency, supporting RL Art initiatives. This role involves working with a talented team of artists, art directors, technical artists, and cross-functional teammates such as designers, product managers, and engineers to create immersive and engaging experiences for users. The Art Producer will engage with art and cross-functional teams to define the art scope for key features within various projects. This is essentially an operation management / design management role.
The role requires a general technical understanding of 3D, gaming, technical animation pipelines, VR, and AR. The Art Producer will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, run meetings, track project progress, and keep teams updated. Responsibilities include running sprints, sessions with the EMEA art team, and managing fast-tracking projects requiring agility.
The Art Producer will create and execute processes to help the art team operate efficiently, proactively identify and mitigate production risks, create schedules, and communicate updates to stakeholders. They will confirm project scope with stakeholders, coordinate with external vendors and outsource teams, manage vendor contracts and purchase orders, and track asset pipelines, releases, and versioning. Supporting team culture and operational improvements within the wider Reality Labs Art team is also part of the role.
Skills & Experience
* Technical or creative production experience or a combination of both, with experience in game, animation, or 3D pipelines for content creation and development.
* 5+ years of experience working in a studio environment, preferably in games, animation, VFX, post-production, or 3D asset development.
* VFX background and understanding of how 3D production works.
* Experience in gaming or tech companies.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Stakeholder management skills.
* Program management experience within gaming, AR, VR, or VFX.
* 7-10+ years of relevant experience.
