This is an exciting time to join the collections team at Sizergh, with remedial conservation projects underway and ambitious plans for the next five years starting to take shape. As Collections and House Officer, you will deliver exceptional collections and interiors care while also helping to provide a first-class experience for our visitors to Sizergh. You will champion Sizergh’s highly significant interiors, collections and incredible history with our visitors, volunteers and staff, to become an advocate for the collection and help grow support for the work we do.
Regular weekend and bank holiday working is required. From mid-March to end of October your working days will be Thursday to Monday, 9am-5pm. A rota will be agreed within the department to deliver the Winter at Sizergh experience, which will require some evening working up to and including the 24th December. From December 25th to mid-March your working days are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
