Technical Services Team Manager, London Markets Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated technical insurance process manager to lead thier small but growing London technical services team. Our client Our client is an ambitious independent Lloyd's Accredited UK Retail Broker with a variety of clients, including marine and non-marine. They have network of offices across the UK, but this position is located in the heart of the insurance district, near Lloyd's of London in a beautiful office that overlooks the Thames. The role The role is primarily overseeing and processing of London market premium and/or claims payments, whilst providing excellent service to clients through timely and accurate processing of insurance and reinsurance documentation, placed in the London markets. This is an opportunity to create, develop and maintain a quality team around you, whilst the business continues to grow. Technical Team in General Working in close cooperation with the Brokers and account managers, ensuring that, post placement, risks are handed over with sufficient information to process properly and that queries are resolved in good time. Utilise various computer platforms, including in-house, Lloyd's, and Company market systems, including IBS, CLASS, LORS, PPL and other company systems. Prepare London Market Quote and Renewal Slips, Cover, Debit notes and Credit notes together with Endorsements. Manage credit control and accounting colleagues ensuring all client premiums are paid within payment warranties. Adhering to compliance rules and regulations when setting up new clients, issuing TOBA’s and ensuring all mandatory documentation has been provided. Ensuring monthly renewal lists are prepared in a timely manner so terms can be issued, or requirements queried. Liaise with colleagues and Brokers daily. Assist in the professional development of junior colleagues, enhancing their technical capabilities. Leading your team to deliver technical service excellence. Requirements: 5 years’ experience in a insurance/reinsurance processing role. 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths. Accurate and attentive to detail. Good written and verbal skills. Organised and reliable. Collaborative team working approach. Ability to work with employees at all organisational levels. Proficiency in MS Outlook (e-mail). Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
