Mane Infrastructure is currently recruiting for experienced Platers to join our team on a major industrial project in the Essex region.
As a Plater, you will be a key part of a skilled team carrying out a range of steel work including repairs, installations, and modifications on-site. This is a fantastic opportunity for tradespeople looking to work on long-term, high-profile infrastructure projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Perform steel plating and fabrication work to project specifications
Carry out repairs, installations, and structural modifications
Interpret and work from technical drawings and plans
Ensure safe working practices at all times in line with site regulations
Work effectively as part of a team on-site
âś… Requirements:
Proven experience as a Plater/Fabricator in an industrial setting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Valid CSCS card or equivalent trade qualification
Knowledge of health & safety procedures in industrial environments
NVQ or equivalent in steelwork/fabrication (preferred but not essential)
Own tools and PPE (preferred)
Working Hours: 07:30am till 16:00pm (8hrs paid)
