We are seeking a Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Swindon team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract and is site based Monday to Friday.
In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with senior leaders and operational teams to align people strategies with business goals, drive organisational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
The role:
Strategic Partnership
1. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, and talent strategy.
2. Translate business objectives into HR initiatives that enhance performance, engagement, and capability.
3. Lead change management efforts for key transformation projects.
Talent Management & Development
4. Partner with leaders to identify critical roles and build succession plans.
5. Drive performance management processes focused on continuous feedback and growth.
6. Collaborate with L&D to deliver training aligned with GMP and regulatory standards.
Workforce Planning & Analytics
7. Leverage data-driven insights to support headcount planning, labour cost optimisation, and productivity.
8. Monitor key HR metrics and recommend proactive interventions.
Employee Relations & Culture
9. Champion a culture of safety, quality, and compliance.
10. Resolve complex employee relations issues with fairness and legal compliance.
11. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation.
Operational Excellence
12. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver seamless services in recruitment, compensation, and benefits.
13. Ensure HR policies comply with UK employment law and industry regulations (e.g., FDA, MHRA, EMA).
14. Support audits and inspections through accurate HR documentation.
The Candidate:
15. Bachelor’s degree or Apprenticeship in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
16. CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified (or working towards Chartered CIPD status).
17. Proven experience of HRBP or generalist experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing sectors.
18. Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance, and UK employment law.
19. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives.
20. Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and HR analytics tools.
21. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
