DAILY NANNY/PA HIGHGATE Essential Requirements: Previous private nanny experience, driving, administration skills, and flexibility. Our client based in North London is looking for an experienced nanny. This is a very busy role for someone who is very much on the ball, highly organised with strong administrative skills. There are three children who attend full-time school. You will not be required to do the laundry or cooking in this role, as a housekeeper and cook are employed. However, preparing the odd light snack will be appreciated. Your duties will include but not be limited to: · School picks up · Managing the children’s diaries · Reading and responding to emails from the school · Liaising with the teachers when needed · Take the children to after-school extracurricular activities · Plan outings and trips · Book appointments, doctors, hairdressers, etc. · Help plan children’s parties. · Overseeing homework and assist when needed · Arranging online food shop · Assist with travel arrangements · Look at utility bills and shop for the best rate · Deal with contractors such as plumbers whenever needed. The children are fun to be with, very respectful and well-mannered. This is a role for someone who has worked with children and is empathetic and sensitive to their emotions. Someone the children will be safe with and will find easy to talk to. Both parents work and often travel. You must be confident to work in a sole-charge position and have a high degree of common sense. Being an unflappable problem solver and remaining calm is key for this role. Flexibility is required for this role. The family travels for most of the school holidays, and you are not required to travel with them. On the occasions they do not travel, you will be required to work a full day. Ideally 7am to 7pm. Driver essential (if you have your own car, this would be advantageous). Working days and hours are Monday to Thursday with the occasional Friday cover. Monday 12pm to 9/10pm and Tuesday to Thursday from 2pm to 8pm. The family are looking for someone who is fluent in English, both written and oral, with superb communication skills. Salary: £45,000 to £52,000 gross per year. ASAP start. (HU4383)
