An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health care support worker to join our team within the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit at Raigmore Hospital. We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate nurse who is able to work well under pressure, who is experienced, or looking to gain experience within an acute hospital environment. The acute medical unit covers, acute assessment unit, Medical high dependency and Ambulatory emergency care. This role is for AEC. AEC admits acutely unwell people from the community and A&E for same day assessment. It is a fast paced and busy environment, and a very interesting place to work. The successful candidate should be able to work well within a large and diverse multidisciplinary team, have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop themselves and colleagues. Applicants must have excellent core values and a strong sense of team spirit - a sense of humour is also recommended! Hours of work are to meet the service need. This is a Band 3 post; however, we would encourage candidates who don’t have the necessary experience to apply, and we can discuss at interview how you can achieve the skills needed.
