The setting is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child with Autism who is non-verbal, on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities
* Providing one-to-one support for a non-verbal child with Autism.
* Implementing personalised learning strategies and supporting communication development.
* Assisting the class teacher with adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
* Encouraging social interaction, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
* Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
* Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Qualifications / Experience
* An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.
* The right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with Autism is desirable.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature with strong communication skills.
