Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Facilities

Salary: £35,000 – £41,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 | Overtime and call-out availability required
About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join Serveo Industria UK Ltd, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management companies. Based at an aeronautical manufacturing site in Hucknall, this is a hands‑on, multi‑skilled role covering a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems across a large industrial facility. You will be part of a professional FM team delivering high‑quality maintenance services to one of the UK's leading aerospace manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services within agreed timescales
* Maintain and fault‑find on lighting systems, distribution boards, and general electrical infrastructure
* Support the upkeep and operation of AHUs, HVAC systems, compressed air equipment, and associated plant
* Assist with BMS monitoring and first‑line response
* Support colleagues with major and minor maintenance tasks as required
* Prioritise and carry out minor repairs efficiently
* Complete all permits to work, job records, and CMMS entries accurately and on time
* Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and work in line with company KPIs
* Liaise professionally with the client and escalat[e] issues to the Maintenance Lead as required
* Support project and improvement works as directed
* Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota and overtime as operationally required
* Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Maintenance (or equivalent apprenticeship) — essential
* Initial Verification & Certification (C&G 2391-50) and/or Periodic Inspection, Testing & Certification (C&G 2391-51 or equivalent) — desirable
* Experience within a facilities management or industrial/manufacturing environment — desirable
* Familiarity with HVAC, AHUs, compressed air systems, and BMS — desirable
