Overview
Job summary: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Sunday, participating in a 5-person rotary shift pattern on a 4 on, 4 off basis. The post holder will be required to provide shift cover for annual leave and sickness as required.
Experience of the following is not essential but would be beneficial: electrical distribution systems, generators, CHP, nurse call systems, fire alarm systems, boiler plant, steam and condensate systems, HVAC, compressors, and piped medical gases.

Main duties of the job: Ideally you will have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship gaining Advanced City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with five years post-apprenticeship experience working on mechanical and electrical plant and equipment. Qualifications, Experience & Training
Essential
* Sound Secondary education with evidence (eg. CSE's, O' Levels, GCSE's or NVQ's)
* A recognised engineering apprenticeship
* Advanced City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with five years post-apprenticeship experience working on mechanical and electrical plant and equipment
Desirable
* HNC / HND in Mechanical / Electrical engineering
