Medical Field Service Engineer (Pathology Laboratory Diagnostics)
An excellent opportunity for experienced service engineers from a range of electronics systems backgrounds to join a market leading supplier of autoimmune diagnostics, immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology, and immunodiagnostics systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, install, break down, repair, and calibrate a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
* Support clinical chemistry and blood diagnostics products at customer sites.
* Ensure equipment maintains optimal performance and complies with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Competent background in a customer‑facing field service engineering role gained within any high‑value capital equipment environment.
* Experience in the diagnostics field (autoimmune diagnostics, immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology, immunodiagnostics systems) encouraged.
* Broad technical background including laboratory device, medical device, pharmaceutical device, ex‑forces engineering (medical & dental, weapons systems, radar) or other electronic/electro‑mechanical sectors.
* A qualification in engineering, electronics or a science‑based subject to a minimum of ONC level.
* Full and comprehensive product training will be provided.
Salary & Benefits
* Overall earnings £60,000+ (basic salary £50,000 + bonus £6,500).
