Senior Change and Improvement Officer (permanent)
This is a hugely exciting time to be part of driving change in health and social care in Renfrewshire. As we look to the future, we see the opportunity to adapt and transform our services to ensure they meet the needs of local people in a sustainable way. This will also take place within a highly fluid and changing policy context which will require us to be flexible and agile to respond to changing demands and requirements.
To support this critical work, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Change and Improvement Officer, to support the HSCP in taking forward this agenda. You will play a key role in working across the partnership to deliver best value within the resources we have available whilst identifying, designing and implementing complex change across the services we provide.
Reporting to the Strategic Lead and Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for leading larger service reviews to improve quality and deliver innovative, cost effective, digitally enabled and client-focused service models and pathways. This will be aligned to the IJB's refreshed Strategic Plan for 2025-27 and recent national frameworks. In addition, you will have line management responsibilities for a team of Change and Improvement Officers as part of the overall Change and Improvement Team.
You must have experience of developing large programmes and projects, with related qualifications (e.g. Prince 2 or APMP), and will have experience of leading and supporting Change Projects from development through to implementation. You will have experience of managing stakeholder relationships and applying formal project management methodologies.
You must have experience of leading teams, either on projects or through line management responsibilities and experience of developing new approaches, templates and guidance of Programme/Project Management.
You will have knowledge of benefits management, including benefits identification, assessment and tracking as well as the ability to apply full range of project techniques (e.g. planning, reporting RAID, change control).
Whilst this role is advertised as a full-time position, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post. If you would like further information in relation to the Disclosure Scotland checks, please visit www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
