A dual role as Specialist Nurse and Sexual Health Adviser, working within integrated sexual health clinics to provide nursing care and sexual health advice.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality nursing care in integrated sexual health clinics.
* Provide expert advice and support to patients regarding sexual health, contraception, and wellbeing.
* Conduct assessments, offer counselling, and manage cases sensitively and confidentially.
* Promote safe sexual practices and preventative health strategies.
* Contribute to health education sessions and outreach initiatives.
* Assess, plan, and deliver all aspects of sexual health care in line with FSRH, BASHH and NICE guidance, including promotion/issuing of all methods of contraception (e.g., fitting of long‑acting reversible contraception such as IUD/S and SDI).
* Screen for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and perform diagnostic procedures, providing treatment and management of STIs.
* Provide health advising, partner notification and result management, including cervical cytology, microscopy, cryotherapy.
* Identify and manage sexual partners exposed to an STI, facilitating partner notification via referral care pathways.
* Lead partner notification for newly diagnosed HIV positive patients and support HIV specialist nurses in patient care and partner notification.
* Work alongside and support the results management and partner notification coordinators to manage the results notification process (specifically BBI).
* Have an understanding of safeguarding and complexities surrounding patients with additional needs (young people, sexual assault victims, domestic abuse victims, children at risk of exploitation).
* Be responsible for day‑to‑day supervision and training of the nursing team (band 5/HCA).
Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to undertake duties concurrent with seniority level, including promotion/issuing contraception, screening, diagnostics and treatment of STIs.
* Experience in partner notification and result management.
* Knowledge of BASHH, FSRH and NICE guidance.
* Experience in safeguarding, particularly with vulnerable groups.
