Job Title: Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist Banding: Band 7–8b (depending on experience) Location: Multiple Residential Sites across Manchester Working Hours: Full-Time (On-site only) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (Band 7–8b) Pulse are recruiting an HCPC registered Psychologist to join a specialist residential service supporting children and young people with complex trauma, autism, and learning disabilities. This is a full-time, on-site role working across several sites in the greater Manchester region. Sponsorship is available for eligible applicants (must be HCPC registered), and the role offers a unique opportunity to lead psychological therapies within a trauma-informed framework. Responsibilities: As a Psychologist, you will: Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health needs. Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Lead psychological input across services, embedding trauma-informed care principles. Provide consultation, guidance, and supervision to non-psychologist colleagues, trainees, and assistants. Contribute to service development through research, audit, and teaching. Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team, maintaining autonomy within professional guidelines.
