Live In Housekeeper Job Rutland - start asap - full-time - self-contained accommodation - up to £40,000 gross per annum depending on experience
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to look after a large and traditional family home in Rutland. Your focus will be on keeping the areas of the house that are used most often clean and tidy as well as keeping on top of the other areas of the property following a cleaning schedule.
Duties will include:
1. Hands on cleaning of the house and keeping it organised, clean and tidy, having a cleaning schedule as not all of the rooms will be used all of the time
2. Cleaning the kitchen, oven, fridge
3. Weekly bed changing
4. Household and personal laundry
5. Hand washing delicate items
6. Wardrobe management - packing and unpacking of cases
7. Arranging dry cleaning
8. Shopping for the household
9. Handling household petty cash and banking
10. Meeting and greeting guests / answering the door / taking in parcels and deliveries
11. Serving teas and coffees to the family and guests
12. Assisting when the family are entertaining
13. Running errands
14. Dealing with trades and contractors
15. Property security
16. Keeping outside areas clean and tidy including the pool house
17. Dog sitting / dog walking / feeding - you must be a dog lover
Excellent references and Enhanced DBS Check required
This is a full-time role normally to Monday to Friday but you will be required to work 2 weekends per month taking your days off during the week
The family are informal and are looking for a flexible, experienced, discreet and down to earth Housekeeper.
1 bed self contained apartment provided - bills paid by the employer - own private entrance - daily could be considered for the right local candidate
