We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to start work ASAP in St Helens. The role will initially start on a contract basis with the possibility of going permanent.
Salary is c 25-28,000 per annum plus holidays, pension etc
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
* Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc administrative duties
Requirements
* Previous experience in processing invoices is essential
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks and/or Sage or similar software.
