We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a dynamic team on an office fit-out project in central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a high-profile project, ensuring all plumbing-related works are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and manage the plumbing trades on-site, ensuring work is carried out safely & efficiently
•Provide daily oversight and guidance to subcontractors, ensuring quality control and adherence to health and safety
•Monitor the progress of mechanical installations and plumbing systems, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.
•Liaise directly with the Mechanical Project Manager, reporting on progress & challenges
•Ensure that all plumbing installations are compliant with current building regulations and standards.
•Assist with the coordination of materials, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
•Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of plumbing works to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry, ideally with office fit-out experience.
•Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical installations.
•Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
•Strong understanding of building regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the project team, subcontractors
•Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety qualifications.
•Must hold a valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
