CNC Miller Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire Salary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits Type: Full-Time | Permanent Syntech Recruitment are partnering with a highly regarded precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator. CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator Responsibilities * Program, set and operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently * Produce precision-machined components from engineering drawings and technical specifications * Programme and machine complex parts on 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines * Create setup sheets and tooling documentation to ensure repeatable manufacturing processes * Carry out online programming using Heidenhain controls * Inspect and verify own work using a range of measuring equipment * Manufacture components to tight tolerances, typically around 20 microns * Machine large-scale components up to approximately 2.5 metres in size * Support colleagues through knowledge sharing and training where required * Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment * Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives * Ensure quality standards are achieved through a right-first-time approach CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator Requirements * Previous ex...
