The Opportunity
EHG Pregnancy and Parenting division is seeking an ambitious and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing global team based in the UK. Reporting to the Healthcare Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business revenues from a portfolio of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical clients. Working with the internal team, marketing staff, and other sales team members, this person will meet and exceed revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
·Identifynewbusinessopportunities,includingnewmarkets,newclientsandnew partnerships.
·Driveincreasedcrossplatformrevenues,includinggrowthofexistingbusiness.
·Coldcallasappropriatetoensuretherobustdevelopmentofpipelineandfuture opportunities.
·Create and facilitate relationships and dialogue with prospective clients within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, both at client direct or their agencies.
·Identifypotentialclients,andthedecisionmakerswithintheclientorganisation.
·Researchandbuildrelationshipswithnew clients.
·Setupmeetingsbetweenclientdecisionmakersandcompany’spracticeleaders/Principals.
·Workwithteamtodevelopproposalsthatspeakstotheclient’sneeds,concerns,and
objectives.
·Traveltoprospectandclients,agenciesandindustryevents.
·Liaisewithallnecessaryinternalcolleaguestooptimizequalityandcustomersatisfaction.
JobQualifications
·Minimumoftwo(2)yearsofsalesexperiencewithinClinicalTrials and the Pharmaceutical industries.
·Specific experience in medical education and / or patient recruitment campaigns is preferable.
·Theabilitytosellideas,productsandservices.
·Aproventrackrecordofcreatingnewbusinessrelationshipswithbothagenciesandclients.
·Competentknowledgeofthedigitalanddatalandscapeandbusinessispreferred.
·Abilitytoassessmarkets,customers,competitors,andprospectsbyuncoveringand understanding opportunities, needs, and challenges.
·Highlyorganized,withtheabilitytomanagemultipletasksandprioritiessimultaneously.
·Collaborativeandateamplayer,workingacrossinternalandexternalteams.
