SEN Graduate Teaching AssistantDo you have a degree and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?Are you ready to make a difference by providing targeted support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural difficulties?*** SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant*** Immediate start until July 2026*** £81 - £101 per day*** Primary school location: Ward of Selly Oak*** Autism, ADHD, EBD supportThe Role:As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the school’s SEN team to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural difficulties (EBD). You will deliver one-to-one support, run small group interventions, and help adapt learning activities to ensure every child can access the curriculum. You’ll also assist in promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being within the classroom.The Candidate:You should hold a degree in any subject and demonstrate patience, resilience, and strong communication skills. A genuine interest in working with children who have SEN is essential. Previous experience in a school, or working with young people with additional needs, will be an advantage but is not required.Requirements
* Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
* Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
* Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
* Desire to work in education/with children – A strong interest in supporting pupils with SEN and developing a career in education.
* Experience working with children – Any relevant experience such as SEN support, tutoring, or mentoring is desirable but not essential.
