Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring progress and attainment.
* Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and independent thinking.
* Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective strategies to support individual learning goals.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and contribute to the continuous improvement of the MFL curriculum.
* Lead and manage the MFL department, overseeing curriculum development, staff training, and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Specialism in French and Spanish languages, with experience teaching across key stages.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting language acquisition and cultural awareness.
* Previous leadership or management experience (desirable for Head of Department role).
* Commitment to professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.
