Our client is looking for a Trainee Freight Administrator to join one of the biggest global freight forwarders, who specialise in Live Events and Broadcasting. This role would be ideal for someone that has a minimum of 1 Years' experience within an Office Administration role.
Duties and responsibilities of a Trainee Freight Administrator:
* Accurately completing carnet applications including logging, returning, tracking claims
* Supporting clients on carnet regulations and requirements
* Following existing processes to maintain accurate records, keeping carnet logs up to date
* Working with the Air Export team to handle all aspects of exports including customs entries
* Arranging collections with agreed suppliers
* Liaising with airlines, carriers, handling agents and customers daily
The successful candidate:
* Minimum of 1 years experience working in an office environment
* Will have a clear 5 year checkable employment and education history
* A clean DBS
* Aptitude to learn and grow within an organisation
* Good IT skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional information for a Trainee Freight Administrator:
* Salary - £25,000
* Hours of work - Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30
* Location - Hayes accessible by car or public transport
Freight experience is not required for this role as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
