Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of property transactions, including:
1. Acquisition and disposal of development land
2. Agricultural and rural property matters (including licences and tenancies)
3. Lease grants, variations, and surrenders
4. Property sales and purchases
5. Refinancing transactions
6. Option and conditional agreements
7. Easements and related property rights
8. Title investigations and voluntary registrations
You will be responsible for running your own matters with appropriate supervision, including:
9. Drafting and negotiating legal documentation
10. Conducting title reviews and property searches
11. Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
12. Liaising directly with clients and stakeholders
13. Managing deadlines and progressing matters efficiently
You will also work closely with colleagues to ensure a high standard of client service is maintained across the team.
Skills & Experience
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
14. Experience managing a property-based caseload independently
15. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
16. A practical, client-focused approach to legal work
17. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
18. Familiarity with case management systems and legal research tools
19. Experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial property documents
20. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
Qualifications
Suitable candidates may include:
21. Qualified solicitors or legal executives with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, or
22. Experienced paralegals with a solid background in commercial property
All applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a professional legal setting.
