The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently managing sourcing activities, ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services within the non-clinical team of an Healthcare Trust. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of procurement processes. The Procurement Consultant will work with our Healthcare client to deliver procurement and sourcing projects for the non-clinical team. The role involves dealing with stakeholders, running the procurement process compliantly, and managing mostly low-level sourcing off frameworks. The consultant will operate within a dynamic and collaborative work environment, engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives. Key accountabilities Independently manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement. Monitor and analyse market trends to make informed sourcing decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the procurement process. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including cost savings and supplier performance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
