Join a busy Events finance team as a Temp Accounts Payable Clerk – SW London, 4 days/week, start ASAP, short-term with potential to extend.
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team within the Events industry on a short-term temp assignment. Based in SW London (Wimbledon), this role offers a Monday–Thursday working pattern, with 3 days in the office and 1 from home. Starting ASAP, the assignment will run for an initial 2 weeks, with the potential to extend until a permanent hire is made.
Key Experience:
1. Processing and managing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
2. Setting up new suppliers in Xero and maintaining up-to-date records
3. Regular phone and email contact with suppliers to confirm details and resolve queries
4. Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc accounts payable tasks
Key Skills:
5. Proven Accounts Payable experience, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment
6. Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
7. Excellent communication skills, confident handling supplier calls
8. Organised, proactive, and able to work independently in a small team
9. Comfortable managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
