Using the tried and tested Swim England learn to swim framework, we develop swimmers' confidence through fun and enjoyable lessons. Many of our swimmers have progressed to competitive swimming and even representing our country. Positions are available at our Quarry, Oswestry, and Market Drayton Leisure Centres.
As a Swimming Teacher, you will deliver safe, fun, and progressive lessons. We also prioritize your career and personal development, offering flexible hours around your commitments. We cover the costs for safeguarding and DBS checks, and you do not need to hold personal insurance as you will be covered under ours.
Our in-house Aquatic Training Academy provides ongoing training through specialist CPDs in swimming teaching, supporting your career growth. There is a clear pathway for progression into management or other areas within the business.
You should have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds. The minimum qualification required is a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2. Additional qualifications such as RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers are advantageous but not essential, as we offer free training to obtain these.
