Control Systems Engineer - The Role:
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of bespoke control and power systems. Key responsibilities include:
Concept design of electrical power and control systems
Design and implementation of Ethernet and serial communication networks
PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell
Production of technical documentation (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc.)
Providing technical support to clients, both on-site and remotely
Peer review of engineering designs
Commissioning support at customer sites (up to 20% travel including international & offshore)
Control Systems Engineer - The Person:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
PLC software experience (Siemens or Rockwell preferred, training can be given)
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical (advantageous but not essential)
Experience in power systems or high-voltage applications (highly desirable)
Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks with minimal supervision
Flexibility to travel internationally when required
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
