Repairs Manager – Social Housing – Permanent Role £50,000 – £55,000 Benefits Location: Kingston upon Thames The Role We are seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to oversee day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance operations within a social housing portfolio based in Kingston upon Thames. This is a key role responsible for managing teams, contractors, and service delivery to ensure high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused repairs services. Key Responsibilities * Manage the delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance services * Lead and supervise operatives, subcontractors, and office staff * Ensure KPIs, SLAs, and performance targets are consistently met * Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency * Monitor budgets, costs, and contractor performance * Ensure compliance with all health & safety and housing regulations * Handle escalated complaints and ensure strong customer satisfaction * Produce reports on performance, costs, and service delivery Requirements * Proven experience in a Repairs Manager or similar role within social housing * Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance operations * Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors * Understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * Strong communication and customer service abilities * Ability to manage budgets and performance targets effectively * Full UK Driving Licence What We Offer * Salary between £50,000 – £55,000 per annum * Company benefits package (pension, holiday, etc.) * Career progression opportunities * Stable, long-term role within a growing organisation * Supportive team environment Location Office-based with site visits across Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas
