About the Role
New Directions Education is seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Bradford. This full-time role is set to begin in September 2025 and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
You will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their personal and academic goals.

The Role:
3. Full-time Key Stage 2 class teacher position, responsible for planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons that support the progress of all learners.
4. Differentiate teaching and resources to ensure all children can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
5. Work closely with colleagues and other professionals to support children, set targets, and monitor progress.
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be completing or have recently completed an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme.
7. Have recent experience teaching or undertaking placements in a Key Stage 2 setting.
8. Be able to provide a recent reference from a school-based placement or teaching role within the last 5 years.
9. Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
