JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker - Children's Residential
LOCATION: Whitchurch, Shropshire (SY13)
FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED.
SALARY: £14.45 - £15.05* per hour
HOURS: 39 hours per week (including overnights) £62.64 per sleep‑in.
Important Requirements
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 or higher in Residential Childcare
* A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
About the Role
Provide individualised care and support to the children and young people living in our homes. Build trusting relationships, help them feel safe, valued, and understood‑while encouraging their growth and independence every step of the way.
* Support children and young people with their emotional, physical, and social needs
* Accompany them to appointments, school, and fun activities
* Deliver personal care and help with daily routines
* Support with household tasks and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
* Complete accurate, clear documentation and reports
* Promote their wellbeing and safeguarding them
