We are Looking For an Experienced Lecturer To Deliver
GCSE English – Alton Campus
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Have a strong understanding of the GCSE English curricula
* Be able to develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to adult learners
* Provide individual support to help students achieve their goals
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth running of programmes
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to ensure excellent student outcomes, retention and progression
* Delivering scheduled teaching, tutorials, and assessment for GCSE English
* Monitoring and tracking student progress using College systems
* Preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and maintaining accurate records
* Setting, marking and moderating coursework and internal assessments
* Providing effective academic and pastoral support to students
* Participating in student reviews, interviews, and reference writing
* Contributing to quality improvement, course evaluation, and assessment review processes
* Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
Requirements
* A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
* PGCE or Cert Ed
* Experience teaching GCSE English
* Excellent communication and organisational skills (Essential)
