Children's Occupational Therapist – a permanent Band 7 Highly Specialist role in the Community Children’s Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest. The position is part of the award‑winning Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, working closely with Barnardo’s in an integrated partnership model.

Job Responsibilities
Manage a mixed, complex caseload of children and young people aged 0–19 years, delivering specialist occupational therapy interventions across schools, community clinics and hubs, family homes and special schools. Provide a high‑quality, child‑centred service that aligns with evidence‑based best practice and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and a minimum of two years’ paediatric experience working with children and young people presenting with a range of conditions. Innovative, adaptable and highly motivated with excellent communication, organisational and solution‑focused skills. Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a car for work purposes.
