Overview
Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 35 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.
We have an opening for 2 weekend team members in our Ashbourne store.
The role will include but is not exhaustive, restocking, merchandising and customer service, cash handling.
The position offered is: 14 hours Weekends Only (may suit college students)
Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation
Responsibilities
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
* Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
* Maintain a fully stocked store
* Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
* Welcome and greet customers
* Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
* Actively involved in receiving deliveries
* Keep up to date with product information
* Accurately describe product features and benefits
* Follow all companies policies and procedures
Requirements
* Previous retail experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be given
* Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Customer service focus
* Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

Pay Rates (per Hour)
* Age 21+ £12.21
* 18-20 £10.00
* 16-17 £7.55
