Main Purpose of the Role:
Our Shift Millers ensure that the site's milling operations are both running effectively and efficiently while producing our products to the highest possible standard. We are a relatively small team so teamwork and being able to think on your feet is a must. We work a rotating shift pattern which includes some days, nights and weekend working.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Maximising the performance of the mill to ensure the best quality products.
· Ensuring compliance with Company and statutory legislation such as Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, BRC and Product Safety (HACCP).
· Reviewing testing and quality information to ensure our products meet specification.
· Liaising with colleagues to ensure processes and procedures are followed.
· Understanding processes, standards and systems.
· Working with others to ensure KPI's are met.
· Dealing with outages and breakdowns.
· Out of hours accountability for all areas on site.
