The Role of an Assembly Operator
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Llay. They are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to support production, primarily focused on cutting and measuring wires to specification.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Operator
Cutting and measuring wires accurately to required lengths
Assembling wire components to specifications
Using hand tools and basic equipment safely and efficiently
Carrying out visual quality checks to ensure standards are met
Following work instructions and production schedules
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
The Candidate
The successful Assembly Operator will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment
Experience with cutting, measuring, or handling wire components (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
