Reed FE are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Child Care to join a great team in East London. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in teaching T Level Childcare, looking to make a significant impact in the educational sector.
Lecturer in Child Care
* Hourly Rate: Up to £35 per hour + admin
* Location: East London
* Job Type: Temporary (until July 2026)
* Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Day-to-day of the role of a Childcare Lecturer
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in T Level Childcare.
* Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and educational offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Childcare lecturer role :
* Must hold a Full Teaching Qualification.
* Proven experience in teaching T Level Childcare.
* Strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
