Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known company based in the South London area who are looking for a highly skilled Housing Solutions Review Manager to join their team.
Duties - Housing Solutions Review Manager:
* Lead and manage the Housing Solutions Reviews Service, ensuring all work complies with current legislation and client policy.
* Contribute to the wider management of the Homelessness & Housing Solutions Service, reporting to the Housing Solutions Resources & Review Manager.
* Ensure the Review Team delivers a professional, effective Review and Appeal service across the department.
* Personally conduct reviews for cases completed by Housing Solutions Managers, or those of exceptional complexity, sensitivity, or legal scrutiny.
* Work in partnership with Legal Services, providing instructions and attending Supreme Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, and County Court for relevant cases.
* Produce detailed briefing reports for Legal Services, offering guidance on court matters affecting the Housing Solutions Service.
* Attend case conferences with Legal Services on review and appeal cases.
* Engage professionally with service users, their representatives, and partner agencies throughout the review and appeal process.
* Ensure all statutory decisions are robust and able to withstand legal, political, and media scrutiny.
* Oversee the strategic and operational management of the Homelessness Review Service, including:Ensuring timely and effective statutory reviews for all Housing Solutions applicants. Maintaining high service standards and compliance across all review functions.
