Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Dunfermline. You'll support our mission to transform social care and enable more people to live longer, healthier and happier lives in their own homes.
We will recruit part‑time and full‑time care assistants in Dunfermline, Rosyth, Cowdenbeath, Dalgety Bay and surrounding areas. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. You may work flexible shifts, including mornings, days, evenings and nights, with typically every other weekend off.
Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care including continence support, washing and dressing; manage medications; cook or prepare hot meals; and help with domestic tasks.
* Provide companionship, reassurance and joy to clients, which is the core of the role.
Qualifications
* Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
* Right to work in the UK and a required PVG (passport check) clearance.
* In Scotland, required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and complete annual renewal.
* In Scotland, required to work towards an SVQ2 qualification; Cera will fund the syllabus but the SVQ registration fee will be paid by the employee.
