As Paralegal youll have the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment, assisting with complex fraud and motor litigation cases for a wide variety of clients. The successful candidate will assist senior fee earners on Fraud & Motor claims.
The position offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the expectation to be in either the Manchester or Birmingham office one to two days per week.
Responsibilities
* Assist fee earners with a diverse caseload of fraud motor cases, from inception to resolution
* Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
* Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system.
* Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression.
* Review and assess motor insurance claims, identifying potential fraud indicators.
* Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation.
* Researching to support legal strategies and case development
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* Previous paralegal experience handling in your own right or assisting onfraudormotor insurance claims.
* Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
