We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Financials and other financial systems applications across our EAP operations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our financial systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business needs, particularly in the context of EAP.
Duties and Responsibilities, Aligned with Key Results:
People:
10. Create a positive team member experience as part of the broader Information Technology group.
11. Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable system solutions.
Client:
12. Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations with a focus on financial compliance and efficiency.
13. Provide guidance on best practices for financial systems architecture, data governance, and integration strategies.
14. Support acquisition-related financial systems integration and harmonization efforts.
15. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.

16. Serve as the primary technical lead for Workday Financials in the UK region, ensuring optimal configuration and integration.
17. Design and maintain alternate account sets to support statutory and management reporting requirements.
18. Stay informed on the latest Workday and other related financial application updates and product enhancements, communication these available features to stakeholders on a regular basis.
19. Configures and performs upkeep on the Workday system to meet Ryan’s business requirements and provide insight on best practices.
20. Follow all documented user and system control procedures, including support with User Access Reviews and Change Control processes.
21. Completes tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, reporting progress to managers.
Education:
22. Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university, and five years related experience.
23. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role supporting Workday Financials.
24. Strong understanding of EAP financial regulations, especially VAT configuration and reporting.
25. Experience with alternate account sets, statutory reporting, and financial data modeling.
26. Familiarity with other financial systems and tools (e.g., Prism Analytics, Project Billing, Revenue Management).
27. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
28. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
29. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Computer and Technology Skills:
30. Workday Financials certification(s).
31. Experience supporting multinational financial operations.
32. Background in financial systems integration during mergers and acquisitions.
