Youll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client. This role is for 28.5hrs per week, working split-shifts with some being completed remotely. About the Client & Your Responsibilities We are seeking a compassionate and experienced female carer to support a young lady both at home and in the community.The ideal candidate will be a driver with experience in a similar role and have sound knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mental health, self-harm, challenging behaviours, and eating disorders. As our client has an assistance dog, you must be comfortable working around dogs. It would also be desirable, though not essential, to have knowledge of PTSD and EUPD. Requirements Training & Support We provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering: Full induction Safeguarding Adults / Person Centred Care First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & Safety Mental Health / Depression / MCA Dols / PTSD Anxiety / PBS / Autism / Eating Disorder Personal Care / Suppositories / Enemas All training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at minimum wage.
