A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in TS3 is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term agency basis starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to make an immediate impact within a supportive and well-established Science department.
The Role
You will:
1. Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience advantageous)
2. Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with school policies
3. Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
4. Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
5. Contribute to departmental collaboration and uphold high teaching standards
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Have experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
8. Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
9. Be flexible, reliable, and able to hit the ground running
10. Have a genuine passion for Science and student achievement
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, provided they are confident in delivering the curriculum with support.
