Weekend Events Assistant - Glasgow (West)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Location: Glasgow West
Dates: Saturday 15th March & Sunday 16th March 2026
(Additional shifts also available Wednesday-Friday)
Office Angels Glasgow is recruiting Temporary Events Assistants for a major sporting event taking place in Glasgow City Centre.
Due to the scale of this event, we can only consider candidates who are able to commit to a minimum of two shifts.
Before applying, please ensure you have reliable transport for the early start and late finish times listed below.
We received fantastic feedback from last year's team; however, please note that this role requires you to be on your feet for the full duration of your shift.
No previous experience is essential, though backgrounds in Customer Service, Retail, Sales, Promotions or Events would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcoming and greeting attendees
Managing the check‑in process and registering visitor details
Following strict health & safety procedures
Directing guests to facilities including food/drink areas and toilets
Answering general enquiries as required
What We're Looking For
Experience in any front‑facing or customer service role
A positive, customer‑focused approach
Confidence using technology (e.g., iPads for check‑in)
Professional appearance and manner
Clear, confident communication skills
